My Mother and I
In one ear and out of the other,
That's what it's like with my mother,
She talks and talks,
But I'm like cheese and she's the chalk,
Will it always be this way?
Or will there be a day,
When my mother and I,
See eye to eye
It's not nice at all,
Being made to feel very small,
But that's what it's like with,
My mother and I,
We just don't see eye to eye.
It gets tiring after a while,
Faking the smiles and the "I love you's",
It's not something you get used to,
But something that becomes a part of you.
